i hate the singstar icon on my dashboard

why did they have to force me BS like this without the option to remove it , at the same time removing the trophies menu ?

- You cant delete / put into folder /relocate it , it will always be on top of your purchased games , if starting ps3 without media or ejecting media this is the first thing u will see:

HAHA , just realized that singstar icon is only on my secondary psn account which i use for store downloads , my main is clean , finally its good for something that my country does not support psn store :D :D

seems that only european accounts are affected by this singstar "virus", but i encourage all ps3 users worldwide to voice their opinion on the above link because if we cant convince sony its a bad idea im sure US will be next to have such icon on top of their purchased games

I like the store design BUT having to add a demo to the chart only to download it, taking like 5 steps to do it? Sometime I dont know where sony has its heads stuck...

The only plus-side, the way I see it is that I was finally able to download the new playstation store without getting false error reports about my Wi-Fi connection which interrupted the download. Haven't played on my PS3 for over two weeks just because that p!ssed me off so much.

I don't have this problem on my XMB, I guess I'm glad SingStar hasn't been at all popular here... Never understood why the games sold as well as they did to EU, honestly. Karaoke must be a big thing in EU? I mean, that's what SingStar is, correct?

I never let things like this bother me. I think it's pretty funny that people are outraged by this. That said, even though the Singstar representative says that it's anything but an advertisement, it clearly is. Saying otherwise is just plain stupid. The PS representative is also pretty arrogant. What a shame. Oh well, as I said, I'm just laughing at the whole situation.

It does make you wonder what is dicussed at some of Sony's meetings. Does the question "How would our customers feel about this?" ever come up?

Lucky me I don't seem to have this, lets just keep it this way. I'd rather not have that singstar icon, chances of me using that is slim to none.
