Just Thinking about if I should get god of war 2 or not, I have motorstorm and resistance luv them both but wanted to get another game, Is god of war 2 still worth a purchase even if you have a ps3, and is it hard going back to last gen graphics also does it run well on the ps3
I was in the same boat as you. I asked myself the same question. I'm so glad I decided to buy it. If you loved the first, you'll love part 2. The game is still beautiful even though it's PS2, and it runs fine on my PS3. Must buy!
Does it still look good on a hdtv I played virtua fighter 4 on a hdtv the other day and it looked like rubbish compared to a sdtv

Well, I can't actually compare the two. I haven't played it on a sdtv, but I think it looks fine on my hdtv. It never crossed my mind that it looked bad or that GOW 1 looked better when I use to play it on a sdtv.Â
yea GOWÂ 2 is awesome, quality graphics for a ps2 game, good gameplay and a good story. can't beat the complete package and thats what GOW2 is. I would suggest anyone with a ps2 or ps3 to pick it up.
yeah i bought it even though i have a ps3, and i absolutely love it. the first one was definitely in my top 3 games ever, and this one is just as good (if not better), however, does anyone else notice that on some of the cut scenes (not all of them) it goes really really jaggedy with straight lines coming out lookin like steps. its really noticeable in some cutscenes. just wanted to see if anyone else had that problem or found a way to fix it - still a bloody good game though

Well guys I did buy it and just played about 3-4 hours worth and omfg it's awsome, I played it on my hdtv with my ps3 and it works perfect infact the graphics are so good it almost has that hdtv shine the next gen games have, Also does the flying parts in GOW2 get anybody else pumped for lair!! thanks for recomending me the game people It rocks!!!!
if youve got a ps2, its best to play it on that. reason being that if you play it on the ps3, chances are there might be some technical problems like that guy who said that it freezes on him. But mainly because (for me at least) you get that satisfying feel of the rumble every time you hit an enemy. But thats just me:)Â
Buy it...NOW. Its better than resistance or motorstorm, it even has great replay value and an extra dvd to watch a whole bunch of stuff. BTW it works fine on my ps3, and its my favorite game i hyave right now. A great sequel to the first epic game
If you haven't gotten God of War 2, now you have a good reason to! The new updated patch for the PS3 ups the PS2 game resolution to 1080p respectively so it should so much more detailed & nicer!Â
you have to get this game its a must, and if your worried about graphics to me it looks better than some next gen games anyways you wont be dissapointed i just finished it the other day
