So while I was playing on my PS3 there was this small power outage(lasted for about 5 minutes. I turned it back on and everything seems to be running alright. Except that once every 15-20 minutes or so the screen goes black for 1 or 2 seconds. It's not a huge problem, but I am worried about this happening when an important part of a game. Anyone know what's wrong?

I would also try playing on another TV to make sure the that isn't what's fried.

happened to me today only.. can u put in more details?? I was playing COD4 wen the screen went blank. i think it happened when the power sourced changed from the genset to normal power.. The PS3 didn;t show any signs but my TV went blank for 2-3 seconds..

Thats really unlucky. Maybe the power going out caused the ethernet cable some problems?

Thanks. Got it off of Wikipedia:) Anyways, I think its the HDMI cable. I might just hook up a new one and see what happens.
