Ok, I have two questions regarding the Playstation 3:

 1. If some game freezes on me, what should I do? If I press the power button behind the PS3 will it get damaged? or will the fan get damaged?

2. Do you turn it on and off just like the Playstation 2 or is it different?

--

I wanted to know these two questions and make sure I don't do anything wrong. Thanks!

1. Hold down the button in the front. Don't use the button in the back until your ps3 is in standby. 2.You can hold down the button in the front or use your controller.

it never frezes, unless you try to do to many things at once, on a menu.

and you turn on the ps3 with the controler, and you can turn it off with the controller, with the ps button in the mnidle, or you can turn it on with the system, it only turns on if it you use your finger, it's cool. so if you tried to turn it on with a random object like a piece of paper, or plastic it wouldnt work.

Oh and sorry for the quick double post :P I also have another question. So, I can't press the button behind the PS3 until I press the button infront of the PS3 right? Like, when I press the button infront of the PS3, it goes on stand-by (does it? o_o) and then turn it off from the back or can I just simply turn it off by the front-button and then turn it on by my PS Controller? Sorry, I am just to careful about my Playstation 3 :P

here you go

you can turn on with PS button or run your finger across on/off sensor

to turn off hold PS button for 3 seconds then menu pops up to turn of system or controller, or leave your finger on on/off sensor for 3-5 sec. for it to turn off

once you turn it off you can flip switch in back but it is not necessary, if you dont the system will just be in stand-by mode which is fine to leave it like that

if in stand by modus ''red light''

you can turn on the ps3 with your controller by pressing the middle ps button or by pressing the button next to eject on the machine

you can turn of the ps3 with holding the ps button untill a pop up shows and slect turn off system or by holdng the button next to eject for 5 seconds...

and it will go automaticly go to stand by modus after that you can swith the button on the back

if your machine is running do not turn off the button in the back do it after its in stand by modus...
