I havent played my PSP in over 4 months!! HELP!

I like Racing, Fighting, RPG's *as long as its not filled with random encounters*, Adventure games, Puzzle games, Platformers, Hell I pretty much play everything lol. BUT I am having a big problem finding games for the PSP. I do not want to buy any Playstation franchises, Final Fantasy, Burnout, or Need for Speed games.

You're not the only one. If Sony doesn't announce something big at E3 - in RPG category ofc - I'll sell my PSP for sure. I'm done waiting for something that won't come. If developers have dumped PSP for good, I'll get a DS. After buying like 30 PSP games, I guess I've tried hard enough.....

I actually sold my DS Lite for a PSP and im beginning to think it was a huge mistake! I mean i like the PSP and everything it can do but the game selection is not the greatest and not many new games are coming out.

Meh, you guys should sell your PSP s, I mean if all the great PSP titles cant satisfy you then it is somewhat a joke.

I got 13 games but only played half and they have all been great so far and with more than half of my collection yet to play plus the announced PSP titles I am more than satisfied. I love my PSP. and would never get a DS instead.

I will NEVER sell my PSP! So that is out of the question. The only reason I sorta miss my DS is because of Tetris DS that game was very addiciting for me especially the online modes. I'm just hoping the PSP comes out with some new games that get me excited. If not then i'll just continue to let it collect dust and just play my PS3.

You should wait for E3, Sony said there will be a lot of PSP announcements. We've already had a lot of new games announced for it recently with more to come at E3 so that should help you.Floppy_Jim

Sell the thing already, then. Comparing systems is not for these pages, even passively. If you're so heart-broken over getting rid of a system to buy a PSP then that's your fault for not being a more informed consumer. Period.

Nobody is ever happy with it. The PSP is the best handheld console on the market period. The DS cannot even compare in processing power. Granted sales aren't the best, not many games come out for it because of all the piracy. Still in all its a great handheld that does everything. I would much rather have a small number of top notch titles come out than a whole slew of mediocre games that rely way too heavily on that garbage touch screen. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and that was mine.

Fell on the RPG front, id get Jeanne D'arc, Disgaea, and Final Fantasy Tactics. All three are some of the greatest SRPGs ever made IMO.

Come on that cant even be taken serious, with 3708 posts you should know all console forums have a recommendation thread and we have all been making threads about all the PSP titles, all the great ones , all the bad ones and all the ones that is to be announced that we are excited about.

I am not saying there is not room for another similar thread, but if you do a little search then you will probably find more than a 1000 threads asking for great games. But let me help you out.:)

I did not like Patapon, not a fan of Resistance, Syphon Filter was good, i have GTA IV on my PS3, not a fan of Killzone, SWFU i'll pass on that, Tekken is a good game, never liked Ghost n Goblins.

how many games do you own? personally I just play my psp here and there and buy the cheap games. i barely just got Gangs of London and Lemmings off Amazon.com and i think they are both fun games. also i highly recommend Flatout:Headon, Ace Combat X, and GTA VCS. I liked the Demo of Clank Secret Agent, but I can't find that game cheap enough to buy yet. Do you ever download old ps1 games from the Playstation store? some of those are pretty fun and $6 isnt too bad.

I'm sick of these crybaby idiots who can't make up their minds. "I need more games." or "I'll sell this garbage!" is all I see on any PSP forum. I only rarely see threads like "I just bought game xy. It's great." because few people actually buy games for the PSP. That's the problem. I have 19 PSP games and I have yet to own every great game the system has to offer, I don't have Daxter, Crisis Core, Lumines,the Patapons, the LocoRocos and I could keep coming with examples forever. Yet still I'm more than satisfied with the library. I'd much rather have fewer games I'm actually interested in than getting stuck with such 'evergreen classics' as Cooking Mama and Brain Age. The games in '09 is very satisfying so far with games like LBP, Tekken 6 and Soulcalibur. But if some people don't need quality handheld gaming then go touch yourselves :P

BTW when will the DS get its next Mario or Zelda game??? The only time it got decent games other then Pokémon(which is, I admit, good) was at launch.

Get resistance retrubution or Patapon! You just have to find the right games. The lego games are even somewhat good!

I've never met one person who's finished every game they bought... you A.D.D. people who constantly need something new, there's NO WAY you've finished what you already have and like Darth, there's NO WAY you've played every "quality" title out there for the system... and even if you HAVE managed such a feat, then look in the corners you never would have thought to do... there's a TON out there, even in NA, for the PSP worth playing. You won't admit it due to foolish pride issues, you don't wanna be wrong or worse, ADMIT you're wrong... but in the middle of the night when the lights are out, YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.

Funny because I feel exactly the opposite way.

I have been many times to Gamestop considering buying a second console but I never found a reason to do it because all the games I want is out for the PSP and as most people allready know alot of AAA games is soon coming for the PSP.

By the way, it is better to have a small amount of quality games than shovelware. ( Yes I know a cliché but never the less the truth )

ston3henge, thanks. I just had to pour it out. Nobody should be complaining about the PSP so far in '09. We have yet to see what Sony is up to at E3 and we already have a sh_tload of games to look forward to. I'll just go Mr T. and say: I pity the fools who sell their PSPs in '09.
