I hype Ninja Gaiden Sigma to get

I haven't played the demo but if the ps3 fans don't know this:

Gamespot gave NIJA GAIDEN 9.4

and after a year they gave NINJA GAIDEN BLACK 9.4 ( the same score)

and this games is build from the ground so it should score better.

First of all its a remake of a remake.. with only a couple of extra's and some decent new graphics..

And the fact that its on the ps3 ... I'm thinking 8.6 to be the score.

OK, the same  is said about NGB which is not a remake and they only added the hurrican pack, what  which you can only play by going online in the original game.

this is gamespot, They don't like the PS3, NGS will get 8 or below.

you saw what they did to VF5, RFOM, MS, CAC.  NGS will suffer  the same fate.

im only here for the forums, but i get my reviews from 1up, and IGN, and then average their scores to get a better idea.

NO, I wasn't and OH what about oblivion they gave it a good score,and gamespot isn't the only gaming site that review matters most of the game you mentioned deserve a higher score , come on now stay positive .

And I like the MGS4 box for the 360. nice one.

Gamespot scored all the games you listed perfectly.

Virtua Fighter 5- It doesn't have online. Do you really expect a fighter, with nearly no revolutionary features, and no online play to get above a 9?! No. It still got a "great score"

Resistance: Resistance was boring and not as revolutionary as many think. Nothing special. Almost all of those guns have been in previous games. The graphics were washed out and bland and the online play was frustrating. Single player was also frustrating. Still it got a great score because it had good gameplay

MotorStorm- it has no splitscreen first of all. The singleplayer is crap. It still got a good score

None of those games deserved 9's. However, they do deserve the good or great scores they got. Many people talk about how Perfect Dark Zero didn't deserve a 9 but it did for a few reasons- 1) the graphics were the best thing out at the time. sure they were a little shiny but it was the best looking console game out. 2) It had revolutionary features like the cover system, rolling, the guns etc. 3) Multiplayer was good with a huuuuuge amount of weapons and players

Simply updating the graphics does not mean ANYTHING. The eventual score it receives is based entirely on extra content and gameplay tweaks. Its the same for all remakes, just look at past reviews.

8.9-9.1 IMO

I think it'll get an 8 in graphics.  9's everywhere else, IMO.  Gameplay could get a 10, however.  it'll be borderline.

Sigma will get a score around the 9's, nuff said. If NG, and NGB got the same score, how can sigma possibly score lower?EmanSolid117

it's a new generation, and the game was built off of a lastGen core.  It's still essentially an Xbox game with updated visuals, a few new enemie types, a few remixed levels, and some additional features.  Do NOT expect a score equivalent to the Xbox score.   Don't do it to yourself.

No offence dude, it's just nobody cares. This isn't exactly a small community with a few members who know our personalities, this places if full of people and garbage. Going to adress point 2 and 3.

2: Cover system wasn't revolutionary, it has been used in other games. a game called MGS uses cover system. Rolling? when was rolling revolutionary? The guns. Almost every game (shooter) that comes out has a few weapons that aren't in other games, like R:FOM.

3: Multiplayer is huge on alot of games but that doesn't make them an AAA game in gamespot, once again look at R:FOM.

its a shame when people pay for a console every game gets a bonus 3-4 marks because you need it to be good. some people will play games they don't like just because it has to be good because its a ps3 game and you have a ps3. just admit some games suck. NGS demo just wasn;t up to standards in any way for a next gen game.magrappy

I personally like NGS myself, well cause I've wanted a good ninja game. 

What we need is someone who played through the original multiple times and tell if the game "feels" right.
Then you look at the changes (completely ignoring updated graphics) to tell if the game is worth a purchase over the original.

Why ignore the graphics? Because if it still looked anything like its xbox counterpart it would be a downright disgrace.

It has to get a 9 no doubt cus that demo wa superb. A better experience than what i had before on xbox. If it doesnt get at least a 9 we know something is seriously upMiguel16

only difference was new more weapons on the first level but yeh game should get a 9 but hey you can walk on water in this one

I hope it gets such a score, but Gamespot is pro XBOX 360 these days so I don't know, we shall see in June, no matter the score, the game will own for sure. The demo rocks!

 Here's the deal, I played the original to the point of having obtained everything in the game, which was no easy task.  So, yeah, I played it alot.  I have also played the PS3 demo.  Graphics, yeah they look real nice, but to say it would be a disgrace if they weren't better than they were on xbox is a bit strong, I see where you are coming from though being you are saying it should have been a leap since it's next gen & all, but you gotta admit, even on xbox, the graphics were sweet.  As for if it feels right, I can't really answer that as & now & have always loved xbox controllers & have never, nor do I now like the PS controllers.  Therefore, while playing the demo, I can't say it "felt" right because the controller is new to me & I don't care for it.  Not to say it's not right, people who are fans of PS will undoubtedly feel right at home with the controller.  Basically, what it comes down to, if you are an xbox fan & have played the original, probably worth a rent at best, if you are a PS fan & have not played the original, you are in for a treat.  I say, get it regardless of the score cuz no matter what, this game rocks.
