It wasn't too bad of a game, but towards the end things just got so farfetch'd that it ruined it a little bit for me.

Oh, and that game is terrible in my opinion.

Great game, got an 8.5 here.Same thing happened when I got Bioshock 2 for $9, just because a game is cheap doesn't equal it being bad.
"Condemned II: Bloodshot" was a breath of First-Person fresh air! Wish they would do another one. Got my copy cheap too, but every penny worth it.
grab the first one to for story continuation. the 2nd one is so much better but u'll appreciate how MUCH better by playing the first one and see where it all began. personally i loved them both.
Is the first one on ps3??? If its on ps2 i cant since i sold it. Anyways anyone else know any really great games under 10$?? Maybe it deserves its own threadgrab the first one to for story continuation. the 2nd one is so much better but u'll appreciate how MUCH better by playing the first one and see where it all began. personally i loved them both.

Great game, got an 8.5 here.Wow just cause gamespot gave it a good score does not mean it is a good game.I've had that game sitting on my shelf - unopened - for about a year now. Really need to find time for it.
I find a ton of bargain bin games are a whole lot better than whatever big AAA sequel is getting dumped on us (with great pomp and circumstance) on any given day.
This just reminded me I have yet to finish this game, I haven't played it in over 2 years now. Infact I've got quite a few unfinished games when I think about it, both Bioshocks, both Resistance games, COD WAW (just on with it now and I'm not too keen on it), Midnight Club LA (got it for £5 last year and barley touched it), Fear2, Heavenly Sword, Undead Nightmares, Batman AA, Brutal Legend, Far Cry 2 (I doubt I'll ever bother with again) Demon's Souls (Great game but too tricky for me) And there's a few others that are my Son's which I've started to play in the past and never got around to finishing, plus games I am on with at the moment like God of War 2 and GT5.
I've mainly been playing online for the last few years so I don't get round to finishing single player games, but I don't seem to play so much online lately and I am finally getting back into single player games. I even played Fallout 3 a little lately and it's been sitting around here for at least 2 years with only my kids playing it.
Most of the above games are old now and can be picked up really cheap.
I just went back to it a few months ago and played through in FPS mode. It kind of defeats the fun of the fighting system, but it's still amusing (and the guns are incredibly satisfying as well, if really hard to aim). Game's great, and has a fantastic sense of atmosphere. Even the multiplayer was kind of fun in a silly way, although the only time I ever got to play that was during Gamespot's game night shortly after release (I whacked Kevin Van'Ord in the head with a toilet seat). Graphics haven't aged particularly well, but it's still a lot of fun, end-game story silliness aside.DJ_Lae
He could use another... At your earliest convenience, please.
I liked the game a lot. It had a fight system that actually worked, to me, most games which have tried a pugelistic combat system have failed miserably in the past but "Condemned II: Bloodshot" works. It's sort of like "Mirror's Edge" in that sense... A game that gives you a very different approach to something or a mechanic we didn't know we wanted (in this case horror, and a good job at creating the world, too). An experience that you never knew you would dig until you played a bit of it. There's no CoD trappings to it (because it came first, obviously), or other taint. I agree with most, that games should be trying to show is something fresh, and in it's day - And still today - "Condemned II: Bloodshot" delivers.
And, it's CHEAP now!
;)
A good game is a good game, it doesn't matter if the graphics are the best, it matters if the game is fun... To me, at least. But I still play "DOOM" happily.

Agreed. The game is actually much more interesting watching someone play rather then playing it yourself.
