I just bought a ps3.... What do I do now?

I just bought a ps3 for a really good price (200 bucks for the console, the wires and fight night).... however Ive been a xbox supporter for a very long time, even though I had a ps1 and a ps2.... what would you recomend for my first game that I buy? Im not a big stealth person (so mgs would not be a good suggestion lol)

Valkyria Chronicles, Fallout 3, Ratchet and Clank, Fat Princess, SFIV, BlazBlue... the list goes on really. Why not try the recommendation thread on the top of the page for more advice?

I really don't wanna sound like a bastard but if you spend that kinda money on something, wouldn't you kinda do some research beforehand? If I didn't have a PS3 yet but was interested, I'd check what games I'd get before spending my cash, not buy the system first and not knowing what games to get.

Well Halo is more fun, and indeed Gears is awesome.

LittleBigPlanet is amazing, look into it a bit more before you buy it though ;)

Little Big Planet is only good if you love being creative and creating/playing levels. You might want to rent Killzone 2 just in case. It got an over all good reception but from the sounds of things the game is kinda hard to get into, especially when it comes to aiming. Since you already have a 360 and most your friends have one I will make a list of PS3 exclusives you should try.

I would recommend getting fighters on the PS3. What's so worth $50 dollars a year for live? The only thing that the 360 has is the cross game chat and that is not worth $50.

For your first game, Killzone 2 or LBP, It will really show off the PS3's capabilities, rather that getting a game like Saints Row 2 and going "OMG, its the same as the 360"
