... The single player was just another game, but the second i joined a game of rush it was just like " WOW I can't believe how bad MW2 was compared to this". Any one else had this feeling?

Haven't played it yet, but that's exactly how I felt about the first Bad Company.

Yeah, BC2 actually promotes and forces team work in every aspect of it's multiplayer. If you don't work in a team, you will lose and die a lot

Well, I've played the beta and I know I would buy this if I was going to buy another FPS game.

I would imagine this game would at least have better network stability than the likes of COD4/MW2

Maybe it was just me but I think they did something to the health.

While I was playing the demo the health felt just right and now in the full game I feel like they lowered it some.

Also I'm noticing a lot of head shots going on. I'm jumping down a mountain side ways and doing all these jumps and some sniper still gets a head shot on me?!? I feel like there giving the head shots away. And I don't notice any difference in the bolt action sniper rifles.

I'm really enjoying the team work and no lag or not as much as Call of duty had anyways.

i reckon the head shot detection is wider. you can aim at the upper chest/neck and it will register it as a head shot

The health is ridiculously low. I mean, I want to atleast have a battle with someone and not get shot as soon as they see me. I also haven't even touched the singleplayer. I am a 27 and I'm trying to get my 3rd platinum star.

At least its not like R2 or U2 where you have to empty out like 10 assualt rifle magazines into your enemy to get a kill

Lol, every gunfight in R2 would be two guys circling around each other while jumping up and down firing their weapons. Good times.

Something like that, the single player is OK, but isn't exactly anything I would consider monolithic.

The online multiplayer however is crazy fun.

Try hardcore mode. In some ways, it's actually easier. People actually die when you shoot them.

One thing that seriously bugged me about the SP was that the cut scenes felt unfinished, broken and disjointed. The last scene from the game clearly shows what i'm talking about. Was anyone like "WTF" in how it played out and ended

when you have to kill the main villain as your free falling, and all that happened in the plane before it felt extremely unnatural and short. It didnt have any climax to it. You just shoot once and it's all over

That was fun and could be intense sometimes. In battlefield you see someone and they're practically dead.

yeah, i agree. health does seem lower or something. Also, i feel like the select detection is much harder to use (did they decrease the detection radius?)

The single player is great, but the multiplayer is terrible imo, doesn't compare to MW2 what-so-ever.

the health in bc2 is fine, if you are a medic or there is a medic in your squad... if you do not play as a squad, just forget about it and take the recon class and start up that campfire for marshmallows... :)

One thing I hate about the new FPS games is that they put too much time in the MP and neglect the single player campaign. All shooters I've played recently have pretty short campaign and that's the reason I didn't get BFBC 2 and don't plan to.

I think that the single-player isn't as good in BF:BC2 as it was in the first BF:BC.

Don't get me wrong I like the single-player in BF:BC2 and the story is cool, but I like the openness of the levels in the first BF:BC over the closed in linear type levels in BF:BC2.
There was that mission in BF:BC2 where you had to find a ship in the desert which is the only open type level that I have seen, but I do have 2 or 3 more levels to go to finish the single-player.

To me it seems like the developers were going for a Call of Duty system for the levels in BF:BC2 and I think that they had succeeded in that because it is like the first CoD:MW in level design, and I think that Cod:MW2 had alot more openness in its levels then BF:BC2 does.

I am really hoping that if and I hope there is a BF:BC3 that the developers decides to go back to the openness type levels like in the first BF:BC.

this is not a 60$ game and here is why:

  • 5 hour campaign
  • terrible AI
  • generic story with sterotypical charatcters
  • wierd ending
  • The multiplayer servers have issues
