I just got my graduation money and am considering buying a ps3. I have a few ?'s

first does the 40 gig ps3 come with regular composite cables? or what type of av cables does it come with.

secondly what one game currently out for ps3 should i get (besides mgs4). im looking for a good game im thinking

mlb the show 08 (i like sports)

or maybe resistance (i would like multiplayer too) or would ut3 be better. (im getting bad company for 360 and i already have cod4 and have no want to play it anymore for either system).

so i guess im looking for a good shooter with good online and is pretty popular still.

It comes with your Basic Cables .. have to buy your own HDMI cable if you have a HD TV ..

Resistance is an awesome game still one of my favorite games to play .. good story and good online .. might want to learn the story in preperation for the second one ..

The Show is hands down the best Baseball game to date .. If you love baseball get that game ..

Then theres Warhawk .. Heavenly Sword and of course you have to get Uncharted ..

The 40 gig comes with composite cables (Red, Yellow, White) and since you like sports (and obviously baseball) I hear The Show is actually a really, really good baseball game.

I would recommend Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank as future purchases though.

Dude dont use your grad money on a game system.

Get a laptop if anything, something that is fun yea, but will benefit you. If need be, deck out the laptop and get crysis. That way you have a great game and if you need soemthing important your high-tech PC can help you too

The thing about that is, a PS3 is 500 bucks, and a laptop from ripoffware that could play Crysis would run him about 2 grand.

If you decide to get a computer instead of a console, don't get a laptop... those things are a complete waste, unless you absolutely have to be able to move it around a lot. when you buy a laptop, that's going to be the exact same computer that it is the day you buy it until you scrap it. there's basically no upgrading them at all. the best way to go if you want to be able to game on it is get a desktop, and build it yourself... or get someone you know to do it for you.

but, if you do still decide to get the ps3, don't forget GTA4.
