i was tempted to get this game myself just to see what it was like. whats the difficulty for it like? im not a fan of most of those old games because they are painfully difficult. i just dont want to break my stuff because im playing it

THere are four difficulty settings so you should be fine.
This game got me craving old-school FPS. Any chance of DOOM coming to PSN?

Perhaps if this game sells well then Doom 1 & 2 will be next. Doom 2 is my favorite in the series. I love using the double barrel shotgun. There ain't nothing like shooting aliens with a boomstick. I am really hoping they release them and maybe with trophies too.

One of the first games I ever played, I was three I think. I can't play it anymore though, I start to feel sick. Already have it for the Xbox anyway, since you can unlock the full game after beating Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Not really surprising, same price as most older games on the XBLA so they aren't going to be charging more for the PS3 users. And since it is an unlockable extra in another game.

why not its a good game, more sales of these good games the more we will get.
I bought it and played through 27 or so levels. I was surprised that it looks ok blown up on the TV instead of the 14 inch monitor I played it on ages ago. In game music would have been cool though. I would like to see them put up some of the other games that came after this. Maybe one of the early multiplayer FPS.

Basically for me its because im not really into pc gaming and my crapy pc monitor is only 13". While I just got a new 52? hdtv this past christmas for my ps3. And im sher most people could spare 5 measly bucks if they'd rather play it on ps3.
