Just picked up my Sega Virtua Fighting Stick High Grade import, the thing cost me a staggering 132 bones US. Thats more than half the price of a Nintendo Wii. Do North American companies not realize how much we are getting shafted on imported fighting sticks over here. Why don't any North American companies make Arcade Sticks for the PS3, there's like 21 different stands, coolers, controllers, component cables, chargers and useless stuff that don't sell. Yet fighting game fans are stuckn paying through the nose on import prices for Joy Sticks. On top of that they don't even use the standard circular rotation base that we use over here, so we're stuck paying 130 bones on imported sticks with square bases.

I swear American accessories companies need to really start making some sticks, I'm sure they'd sell like hotcakes once all the fighting games come rolling, Street Fighter HD remix. VF 5, Mortal Combat.

Stop this insanity people shouldn't have to take up a second mortage just to buy a set of joy sticks.

That plastic one, that's for noobs. I'm talking about steel chassis arcade replica sticks for serious fighters. I checked the Hori Arcade Stick Pro 3 was even more expensive than the one I got.

Thats the one I bought, the shipping is like 60 dollars. Thats why I think American companeis should start making these sticks, the imports tag you on the shipping. Those sticks weigh a ton. If american companies can produce those same sticks for like 80 bones they'd sell like butter, right now these sticks have to come from Hong Kong and Japan which makes them twice as expensive. An 80 dollar stick suddenly becomes 130 with shipping.

I have always been concerned about the cost of importing steel chassis fighting sticks.  Sometimes I get so riled up when I think about it that I can't sleep at night.

I'm gonna start a steel chassis replica stick company tomorrow. LOL. Actually I probably could, I use to service some Arcade machines back in the days, all I gotta do is open that sucker up and check out the wiring. Poor North Americans and Europeans are getting shafted on these sticks.
