I know Why Heavy Rain got 8.5

I was pretty upset when gamespot rated heavy rain 8.5. I thought that this game deserve an AAA ranking. But today when i was playing heavy rain the power cord of the PS3 got between my brother's feet and that caused the PS3 to shut down. When i restarted it, all of my saves of Heavy Rain are now corrupted. Now i have to start from the begining. Have to do all those chores again (bathing, eating, drinking) and it has frustrated me to such an extent that i dont feel like ending this game. You cant even copy saved data :'(

Terrible thread. How old are you dude? I can imagine your frustration but are you seriously going to complain about something that your brother did and pass it off onto GS and their review staff because of your simple (unfortunate) twist of fate. That's pretty laughable. It's a great game, obviously if you're this worked up about losing your data the game meant something to you... it won't be THAT big of a deal to replay it and you'll find various deviations from the original story you chose... it's not the end of the world. Purposely go a different route if that's what will make the difference. You sound remarkably spoiled and snobbish and it just comes of the wrong way.

I think he must hate his borther or something. Its not the games fault your brother unpluged your ps3. The reason for the 1.5 drop from 10 was this

• Plot holes and heavy-handed villains
• Technical issues break immersion
• Poor movement controls.

That is form the writen review. Nothing to do with bother's. It would make more sence if your game freezed up or something, but not so much your brother lol.

if it was exclusive to XBROKE it would have received perfect 10/10 and they would have said they'd sell their wife into whoredom over somebody taking the game away from them.

i think i understand what he is saying, perhaps he is talking about the game's slow start, and how going through it a second time it seems more monotonous.

Really? All because your brother is clumsy. That would be like giving every Xbox game a 1.5 deduction for the possibility of the RROD appearing.

What in the crap excuse is that? LOL Your brother kicked the powercable and your PS3 shut off, and now that is the reason for GS 8.5. I didnt read that on the box cover or in Game Informer magazine. I will have to double check.
