Alright, I played through the first time as an Angel (almost literally), but on my second play through I have been a spawn from hell...and I'm LOVING it! I didn't think I would enjoy playing evil as much as I am, generally because I am a very warm hearted person. Which have yall prefered??
i played through the first time and was trying to stay neutral for trophies.. but i forgot to get the bobbleheads so i have to play through again and i like to be evil it's just to much fun making people slaves...
I was a Saint, because I found it hard to be a a** most of the times. But I had no problem shooting people who told me to get out of the way or something. So I guess I am neutral.
I'm playing as a saint. But my brother is playing an evil SOB. We take turns playing our respective characters. I hate having him watch me though, cause I know the people I've just helped will be enslaved or cannibalized by him when he plays. Sometimes I accuse him of spying. Hahaha.
I was evil on one play through, good on the next. It was MUCH easier to be evil in my opinion. You don't have the Talon Mercs on you all the time. Instead it was the Regulators or whatever, and they couldnt really hold their own. So I had a never ceasing supply of combat shottys and caps. :lol:
I was playing the good guy in my first run. And now I'm playing as an evil b*t*h in my second run, and I have more hours on this file than my first one. It was fun for a whil but then my conscience caught up to me and now I just naturally reverted back to neutral, but I still have the evil karma in my ratings.
I didn't know you had to be good to get the dog. I never ran into him on my first play through and wanted to on my second, so maybe i'll have to raise my karma for a bit to get dogmeat.

You get dogmeat no matter what. Just go to Scrapyard and he will be there.
First playthrough I think I lost like ZERO karma and won like... zillions good karma. I guess that's just me. People say I'm too kind...
Second time I'm a bit more relaxed on winning/losing karma, I'm still doing mostly "good" stuff but have to do evil things for trophies (see "Strictly Business" and "evil" trophies). I can't kill good people so I mostly enslave Raiders to lose karma for trophies.
I agree it's fun not to care about consequences since it's a video game. But some games nowadays are so freaking realistic you can actually feel bad for doing some stuff. For example, it was never a doubt in my mind that I would rescue all the Little Sisters in BioShock. How could I "kill" a little girl?Anyway, I'm drifting away from the conversation subject.

It really depends, if you want guns go with Fallout 3. Indeed. Both are great but Fallout 3 is better when it comes to general feeling and atmosphere of the game. Of course if you're a Gun Nut *wink* Fallout 3 is a no-brainer.

I think it's a lot better. Fallout 3 is a great combination of Oblivion and the original Fallout games. My brother and I have noticed a couple recurring characters that brought back memories. I've just started re-playing Fallout 2 to see if there are anymore similarities. Bethesda did better than I expected with Fallout 3...
You don't get to do fun stuff like plant live grenades in people's pockets if you're an angel. Being bad is just fun. I didn't take any lip from anyone. Those kids that kept calling me "mungo" were lucky I wasn't allowed to shoot them...
ii have trouble playing evil characters in games. I'm all good, and taking my time gettingthrough it. I miss the nice scenery of oblivion. This post apocalyptic wasteland kind of gets to be a drag after awhile. It's perfect for the setting and all, but seeing the wastes for soo many hours is getting to me. I have to hurryup and finish it to play another game with nice cheery atmosphere.
Two reasons I've decided to sell the game and never play it again; 1. you cannot kill children as it is very fustrating and pisses the *** out of me. 2. there is no aftermath regardless of what path the protagonist has chosen when completing the final main quest.

For those who don't know about Fallout 1+2, you WERE able to kill children and become a Child Killer. The one thing I really miss is crotch shots. Those were the greatest. Nothing beats running up to a super mutant and pummeling his crotch with a Super-Sledge!

Playin as a complete saint now (even giving that bum at rivet city purified water). But i can't wait to be a * to everyone on my second playthrough, there are just so many occassions lol.

i started the game off a saint but have slowly become more of a badass as i go through, mainly for the fun factor, i think it all started when i took the evil route on the replicated man quest, you get a sweet perk for it though! now im pure evil baby!
