I need a good and honest opinion about these two games.

I personally liked Sigma more. DMC4 just felt like it was paced funny.

I have only played Ninja Gaiden Sigma, so I would say that. It is a great game by the way.

DMC4, NGS gets frustrating as hell half away through you'll find yourself throwing the controller into the tv, trust me and get DMC4.

If you've never played either one, get NG. I like them both a lot though.

I have both, I'd go with DMC4 though, I thought it was an amazing game. You really can't go wrong with either.

Well, if you're good at action/adventure/swordplay games, I'd say Ninja Gaiden. DMC4 offers a challenge on the higher difficulties, but Ninja Gaiden will keep you thoroughly frustrated pretty much the entire game. I thought Ninja Gaiden was better, but both are really good games IMO. I'd say get both if possible. I think they are both going for $30 now

ninja gaiden is harder and i'll only recommend itif u are good at these type of games. DMC is easier but its still fun and the combos you can chain up are awesome. gameplay wise i think i'll go with dmc. graphics i would go with ninja gaiden. Overall i would get.... DMC

DMC4 is great, just like the entire series. If you have played any of the previous, you will definatley like the 4th. Although not nearly as challenging as NGS, it can be if you simply turn up the difficulty setting. NGS is also great, but there are parts in the game that simply punish you and it can be a struggle just to get through the game. Its probably one of the most difficult games to beat so I wouldn't recommend it for the casual gamer. If you had to choose one, I would go for DMC4. It does track settings and compare them to your friends so you can see how they did on certain stages. Neither game has a big replay value, and neither have trophies so once you beat it, you don't have a whole lot of reasons to do it again. NGS might not even be beaten by a casual gamer unless he/she is ready for some serious dedication and is ready for a challenge.

They are both good games. Personally I liked DMC4 more only because NGS was way too hard for me to enjoy.

seriously i would have to reccomend waiting for bayonetta, it will totally eclipse them both.

but if you must than go with ninja gaiden, although the gameplay in dmc can be more "fun" sometimes, but the terrible level design, and the lack in variety of the enemies is a real downside.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma, as Devil May Cry 4 seemed way to rushed, and overall didn't appeal to me. I had DMC3 and the second, and the fourth is really, how can I put it, not up to scratch for this type of genre. NGS in my opinion. :)

DMC4 apart from the graphic and playing as new character is fun using the Devil bringer but as you go throw the game you are then forced to play throw the same levels and fight the same bosses more than once which can be annoying and shows laziness from the developers.

As for NGS the game is known for being hard Tecmo has always made this series that way, although some say this version's difficulty has been lowered, I disagree on that I find it the same if not slightly hard than the original on the Xbox it also hs some extra features. If it comes down to it I'll tell you to looks for a good deal and buy both.... but if you can only buy one then go for Sigma.

I really didn't like DMC4 very much -- good LOOKING game and it was fun for a little bit, but it gets repetitive VERY quickly and I think the story and characters are just ridiculous.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a fantastic game, but the difficulty of it is fairly... uh... brutal.
