I need a suggestion for a shooter (MP)

I have been playing The Last of Us multiplayer and i really like it, i never played a shooter before.

Im looking for a shooter (1st or 3rd person) with a similiar MP. Either Team VS Team or Team VS AI, with classes (support, sniper, etc) and, if possible, with dedicated servers (p2p is awful).

There are a ton of COD games and i cant really tell the difference between them, i have heard there is little tactical involved in the MP in these, its more shoot n run.

I also heard of Battlefield (3) , that the MP is a bit more tactical but only the PC version has dedicated servers (what i heard from a friend).

Can you guys give me some more info/suggestions?

Most people would agree that 2007's COD4 was the best out of the series and believe or not the MP community is still strong!!! The only downside is the hackers, but most of the time you can still get a ligit game.

So, if your just looking for a great Arcade shooter that's tons of fun, any of the COD games are great for that! But if your looking for something more team-based and tactical, you could go with Battlefield or Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

The Last of Us' multiplayer is great, lots of fun! I recommend getting into Uncharted 3, it's a very nice TPS. I haven't played Battlefield 3 since 2 months ago, but I'm pretty sure that PSN also has some dedicated servers for that game, buy 3 months of PS+ to get it "free", plus some other games like Saints Row 3! :D
