Well, if there is one thing PS3 has done very well...its racing games. I have played and recommend the following: Motorstorm - this was a big surprise for me. I almost didnt get it, but its the most addicting online racing I have ever been in. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue - Not much else to say here. For 40 bucks, you get top notch graphics and handling with around 70 cars to mess with. You run a series of single player races to build cash and your cars up, then go online for some great fun. F1 Championship Edition - as good as I could expect for an F1 game. Tracks are dead on. Online play was a downer, and I think its dead online now anyway. Ridge Racer 7 - Some people prefer the Need for Speed series, which isnt bad on the PS3 I might add. I liked RR7 better. Sure its a bit of a drifter, but it has a MASSIVE single player career mode where you buy and upgrade cars. You then take your cars online and race. Last I checked there was still a solid number of people online. The graphics are excellent too. Others you might try that I didnt go for are: DiRT and GRiD - both by the same dev. I dont care for the physics in these but they arent bad. 2 different Need for Speed games - I prefer RR7 Sega Rally Revo - great if you like rally cars. I dont so I didnt pick it up. Burnout Paradise - this one is a bit odd. Its technically a racer, but its actually more like an action/adventure game in a car. You spend more time doing tricks and stuff in Paradise City than actual racing. BTW, keep an eye out for Ferrari Challenge Trafeo out next month. Gamespot and others seem to love it so far.
