Mine came with an ethernet cord and everybody I know who has one came with an ethernet cord check with the sales assistant about this one maybe this is a recent thing that they've started to remove them. Or maybe that first guy's was missing when he bought it!!
If you're using a wireless router, then installing is easy if you set everything to automatic.. that may include the wired settings too. But just to be on the safe side... create a specific IP for your PS3 and use that IP in DMZ on your router. So, you wont have any problems playing COD4 or maybe some other games.
ok online is free (awesome huh?) there are more than enough people online... as far as i know they come with ethernet cord it should say on the box it usually has an "included: " labeling somewhere on the box... also if u have a wifi router than u can connect it very easily :D
i thought the topic title was asking a question like "i need help?" like making the topic title sound like it was us saying it. oh well. PSN is free. and works perfectly.. 60gig came with a Ethernet cord here.. (tho it wasn't that long) apparantly a friend of mine bought a 40gig and that did too.. weird :?
