I need help now! Demon's Souls or Ratchet and Clank?!

So a few days ago my mom said that if my report card comes out with good grades, she will buy me a game of my choice. So tomorrow Demon's Souls comes out and I was thinking of buying that. The thing is though, I know absolutly nothing about the game other than it being extremely hard and difficult and having a simularity to the game Oblivion. Then there is Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time, the game comes out later in the month, but that gives me time to also get the platty for Uncharted 2, I haven't played any of the ratchet and clank games other than quest for booty and the first one back on the Ps2, I will rent tools of destruction though before I get it. So I need help guys, which do you think will be a better decision in the long run!?

But I was a huge fan of Oblivion and I love games like this, also I am big into games that last me awhile.

Since you're already getting Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2, I'd say get Demon's Souls since it will give you something a bit different. And it will for sure last you longer than Ratchet and Clank (which does look really good though)

Ratchet and Clank always makes me laugh. Cool game.

What you should do is get the next two Ratchet games after the original and play those. They are even better than the already awesome original. Then you beat Tools of Destruction. And then you get ACIT. Sounds like a plan to me.

I will say though if you can get your hands on a copy of the Deluxe Edition of Demon's Souls right now, get that instead. You never know how rare those Deluxe boxsets are going to be in the future. Overall though if it's between the regular Demon's Souls and ACIT, get ACIT. And play Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, and Tools of Destruction! Hell, even play Deadlocked and Size Matters while you're at it!

Demon Souls is really only similar to Oblivion init's medieval settingand art style. The game plays alot differently. I can vouche for Demon's Souls, as it's an excellent game. It won't be for everyone though. If you've watched a few videos and like the look of it, then you'll probably enjoy it.

Never played the R&C series myself, so I can't say how worth while that'll be.
