I need help picking a PS3 and games!

I think it would be foolish to buy a ps3 right now when black friday is like 3 weeks away and I am hearing about some ps3 system deal for around $180. (Radio Shack= $200 with $20 credit)..... And there will be plenty others who will probably beat that deal.

160 G PS3= 250

Heavy Rain= 25 Bucks It is a must have

Killzone 3= about 35 bucks

Uncharted 2= About 25 bucks

These games I loved but tell me what games you like it that all equalls about 325 bucks its a good deal

Mass Effect 2 is a pretty cool game. killzone 3 is awesome. Red Dead Redemption.

I downloaded the Dungeon Defenders demo last night and I was very impressed. If you dont find the games you want at the local store, I suggest you looking on the Ps3 store.

Definitely get Red Dead Redemption, it's one of the best games out and fairly cheap. Metal Gear Solid 4 is pretty good but if you haven't played previous releases, you'll be lost in the story. even though Uncharted 3 is out, still pick up part 2, it's a blast if you don't know what's going to happen and the action gets pretty intense.

I'm assuming you do not have a gaming rig or a 360 given that you have listed multiplats for games you are interested in so...

The games I recomend the most are

-Batman Arkham City (it has strong combat, stealth, collectibles, exploration, puzzles, story mode, and challenge mode with high score rankings) IMO it is the pinnacle of the action adventure genre and the best thing that can be played on the PS3 to date. It is not neccessary to play the first (arkham Asylum), but it is an exceptional game as well.

-inFAMOUS (you should probably try the demo on the PSN first, but I find inFAMOUS to be the Playstation 3's strongest exclusive. It gives a bunch of powers at your fingurtips and an open world. there is a high level of tactical thinking involved. Approach and power choice are key. The combat is outstanding and fast paced and the story is very gripping. It's also a blast to play through twice: once as good and once as evil)

-Devil May Cry 4 (best hack n slash for the system by far. The stylish combat system is still the best I have ever played in any game ever. Devil May Cry is pure skill testing fun)

You should also consider 3D Dot Game heroes if you are hankering for some simple old school 2D zelda fun.

IF u r from India do not buy a system from the US .. even if you buy make sure its a PAl system coz once u come back to India u will have a tough time fiinding NTSC games.

Right now, Best Buy is having a sale for Uncharted Trilogy 320 GB Bundle..... You get 320 GB playstation 3, Uncharted Dual Pack (Part 1 and 2) and Uncharted 3 for $299.99. Not a bad deal but there will be plenty of better deals on Black Friday.

Multiplayer Issues.

Why the hell do I need to be connected to the internet (or at least an offline router) to play splitscreen mode in Warhawk?!

And why does Uncharted 2 take a year to finish its live data sync?!
