I need MGS4 help!!

Okay so I'm at Act 4 and I have to kill Vamp. I killed him about 10 times but he keeps healing himself! Can someone help me??DEF-JAM

equip your syringe in your items menu kill him then grab him from behind as he gts up and stab him in the neck with a syringe

The syringe is an item given to you after you rescue Naomi. Look in your item inventory. Once you drain all of Vamp's life, unequip your weapons and equip the Syringe in you item menu; then CQC Vamp and use the syringe. sykojason

CQC means Close quarter combat.

after you kill vamp he'll rise again.....shoot him again several times and he'll die faster...

the minute he falls down, quickly go to the items menu and equip syringe that meryl gave you before you fought with laughing octupus..

after you've equiped it...quickly go behind vamp and CQC grab him ( in order to do CQC, make sure your weapons inventory is set to "NONE")

to grab him...go behind him and "PRESS AND HOLD" the R1 button...this will make sure that snake grabs him from behind...then (since you've equiped the syringe) press TRIANGLE WHILE YOU'RE STILL HOLDING HIM and Snake should inject the syring into his neck...and that should do it.

(it's not as complicated as it sounds..believe me)

The trick is very simple all you first gotta do is shoot him tillhisHP bar falls to 0and he would fall on ground. Quickly runtowardsVampand equip with a syringe gave by Naomi. I forgotten how to do CQC, if I'm not wrong it was R1 and you must not only press but hold to have it to do the CQC after when your holding him press Triangle button to use the syringe. After you use it correctly there would be a cutscene where Raiden would appear and fight Vamp while you take out wave of Gekkos.

If you wanna learnt CQC somewhere in the menu outside the game has a tutorial where teaches you lots of thing would help you alot.

in case anyone is wondering as to why the syringe works, remember that vamp's ability is to regenerate, but how he does this is via naomi's nanomachines, stop the nanomachines stop the regen. The syringes that naomi gave snake is ment to retard nanomachine activity within the body thus vamp looses his ability to regenerate, i thought this was pretty obvious as soon as i heard that vamp has nanomachines that help him regenerate.

Btw you can also use the syringe on soldiers aswell, not rebels though since they don't have any nanomachines in them in the first place.

you have to make sure that the syringe is in your item inventory, then just hold L2 and scroll to the syringe making it the equiped item. I don't know where exactly in the process you are getting confused, but maybe you don't have it moved to your items, or you are looking at the weapons side instead of the items side.
