The easiest way to get any name you want, is to add a hyphen to the name. While I wanted the name GUILE (like my original SOCOM 1) name, for some reason even though I got my system near launch (even though it was reserved I was in the second or third batch due to shortages) the name was taken. I had to settle for DARK-GUILE which I'm happy with. I don't like using numbers unless they are relevant.
What's wrong w/ using the same one you got here on GS (Mikeillest)? Sound cool enough to me...or is it already taken?
Btw, you do understand that if you make a new PSN profile and whatnot, you'll lose any level & trophy stats and will have to start from scratch, right? I hope you don't have a lot of activity associated w/ that PSN username you already have....
The problem is, if I write any cool ID, in an instant it will be taken :? ,so you need to keep checking every second to see if there was anybody who has given you a good ID and immediately register it.
How do we even change our PSN id name? And yeah if we loose all of our trophies and stats by changing our name then I'm not going to change mine :P But I'm just curious as to how its done? I assume either account management or contacting Sony themselves?
