it ruined 2 of my controllers left anolog sticks. Always hitting that run button for over a year now screwed um up so that my stick never is competely centered. So now i am always moving when my guy should stay still. Anyone else have this happen and will sony do anything to replace controllers that broke with normal use from a game?

Or do you mash it?

Buy a Dualshock 3.

No more sticky analog.

Also, play something else. Maybe an intellectually stimulating game, like Haze or Lair.

Yea i just pressed it of course, I am down to just my dualshock now and i wont even use it for that now, scared to have it happen again. I think its from needing to run all the time in that game. EXCESSIVE CLICKING! [QUOTE="CanadianCR"]

You see, that's the thing.

I had the same problem with my SIXAXIS, both of them, but I've been using my Dualshock 3 for the past half year and I've had no problems with it whatsoever.

LOL HAZE or LAIR huh? I'll pass. KZ2 has been my new game of choice but COD4 seems to always draw me back at some point. Still got SF4 and few on 360 to get to also so COD may rest awhile. [QUOTE="Scianix-Black"]

my problem with it is there are too many damn super nerds/geeks. I have no problem with regular geeky kids, but COD4 super nerds/geeks make me wanna kill em.

yeah, 2 of my sixaxis got auto walk functions because of cod4. i always tried to press as lightly as i could, but i guess the whole press-and-move was just too much... bottomline, DS3 is your answer to the Sixaxis problem.

Ya i like the whole "Press stick to run" way but i like Resistance 2's way better, hold down L2. But anyways, i find DS3 controllers better to use for the press stick to run thing than a Sixaxis.
