Well I just downloaded the Kane and Lynch demo off the European Ps Store and played it.. What did gamespot give it again like a 6? well my thoughts were that the graphics werent like THAT BAD... they were alright.. had soem jaggies.. looked cool at certain parts.. it just looks like a next gen LAUNCH game if anything... gameplay wise i felt like i had some fun but at the end of the demo i thought that the game could get really repetitive.. BUT it isnt the worst demo i have downloaded.. im preobably going to play it later.. it wasnt BAD.. just wasnt AWESOME.Judging byt he demo i wouldnt give it a 6 but maybe at least a 7 or 7.5
I downloaded the demo from the Euro Store, but I haven't played it yet. I was always interested in it but never enough to buy it. Thankfully I can play it now without having to worry about flushing money down the drain.
Personally I was not impressed by it. The controls were too clumsy and slow for my taste and honestly bored me a bit. Not that bad....but certainly not great. Its just...average
Did anyone that played Kane and Lynch also play Freedom Fighters? I'm just curious about the similarities cause some consider K&L to be a spiritual successor to that game. (I loved Freedom Fighters by the way)
yo i got the demo and played it. I also think the critics gave this game a worse score than it deserves. Besides the awkward croud and cover controls. The game is really innovative. I felt like i was in a crime movie.
I played it on Xbox 360 and I'd give it a 5-6/10. I just played the PS3 demo and it'd be the same. Such a great concept, but so damn poorly executed. Not to mention later it goes all battlefield GRAW on you. And lets just say you start to notice the atrocious cover system when you get to that part.
I played the demo and controls did feel too clumsy and slow. Graphics were... ok.... only interesting part is the characters (Kane & Lynch). Judging for the demo I would give 6.
