I played the ps3 today..

On my break during school me and a friend went to a local gamestore wich we knew it had the ps3 standing. So when we got there we saw the ps3 standing there in some kind of boot (i think the people in USA and Japan have the same one). But it wasnt turned on.

 So i asked one of the employees of he could put it on from me. So he walked with me and opened a little door. The ps3 you see is just a plastic model, the real one is underneath and he said it is already on. After that he turned on the tv, but the ps3 was frozen. Then he rebooted it and it worked fine.

I launched up the demo of motorstorm and it was really nice. The new sixaxis controller feels fammiliar, yet different. I had to get used to the new trigger buttons tough. Also we put on the option so that we could use Sixaxis but that sucked so we turned it off immediatly.

I wasnt really impressed by the scenery of motorstorm, but it looks very good anyways. I haven't seen any drops in framerate or anything.

 My crystal ball says: the playstation 3 will win
                              the Xbox360 second
                              Wii is the last...

and ofcourse they put a plastic one where you can see it, so people won't steal it.

I will see how motorstorm turned out when i purchase a ps3 and motorstorm. And i know they do that for security... but how the hell does it breathe in there?Marcje124

Yeah... The ps3 is a really nice looking, yet powerful console. I agree with what you said about Motor Storm, the motion sensing function does take a long time to get use to. I was driving like a drunk person when I was using the Motion Sensing function. :P

It was a metal case, so i guess that is even dumbe of them to do.

Thank you :), when i was racing the scenery looked go. But when i was selecting my bike you could really see how flat the ground looked. A very nice detail that i noticed was that you could still see the tracks that were made in the first lap.

When i crashed at the first mountain i tought: wow it reacts, then i crashed again and i turned it off because it wasnt funny how over reacting it was. And i had a reputation to keep 8) :P
