Hi all, I was wondering if my girlfriend's i Pod Touch is compatiable with either of my PS3's. Transfering music and possible streaming video thorugh it would be cool. I won't be seeing her until this weekend so I can't test it out, but I figured I would ask. She's got the 32gb 3rd generation i Pod and I have a 80gb PS3 and a 120gb. Don't seem like it would matter which console I would be using but maybe it would make a difference?

I'm not sure if this will give you much help but I tried using my ipod and my ps3 when I had a phat and it didn't work at all. As a matter of fact it messed up my controller:ps3 sync. From then on out I had to USB it to get my ps3 to turn on.

P.S. All I did was charge my iPod on my ps3. It worked but the result wasn't good.

Well that could be rather useful because I have yet to try it out, but It don't think its worth messing up my PS3 lol.

Well, earlier Ipod versions were indeed compatible, as I used to use an old nano. I tried my Iphone, and it wouldn't work, and I couldn't try my Ipod touch 2g because I sold it.

When I plugged mine in (simply out of curiosity) it just charged it.
