They say  "Users on a home network should also get improved streaming of movies, music, and images to their PS3 from a PC. "

Where the heck is that choice on the PS3 OS?  I have a wireless router that I use to surf the internet.  Do I just type in the IP addess for my PC to get it?

I'm sure once it's released tomorrow that Sony will give some kind of instructions on how to do it on their website.

oh. so it is possible? that was pretty much the only thing keeping me from buying a PS3...its my most-used feature on the 360. do we know if it works with WMP11 streaming or if its some proprietary thing?

No sh.... me too.  I couldn;t believe it when i read it.  And there's no way they're talking about linux is Sony is updating the streaming.  So, lets hope GS has a clue of what they're talking about.  You have to admit, it is funny how small of a pafrt of the article this HUGE news is.

i read this on one website

"And finally, one other detail not mentioned in the European release is that users can now copy saved data from PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format software stored on their PS3 system to a Memory Card or Memory Card (8MB), using their PS3 system and a Memory Card Adaptor."

i was happy to see it.  especially if it is true.

I know that would just be amazing. I wonder if we will be able to transfer save data. I want to back up my files and while i can do it with a flash drive or my pro duo memory stick it would be much easier this way. I would die if for some reason my Oblivion data were destroyed

Well, I originally bought the adapter then took what data I wanted off my memory cards and sold them...I still have the adapter and was planning on trading it in, since I never really had to pay for it since I made a profit off the memory cards

I have an external harddrive.  I bought it before I purchased my PS3.  It's very nice, I actually keep most of what I have on there and my PS3 has Plenty of space.  So I know how you might feel already...
