I wanted to get one before the 60GB got phased out and got replaced by that rediculously stupid 80GB. My mom even picked one up with me because she wants a Blu-Ray player lol.

But seriously, good on ya man. You'll love it. And I'm sure your mom will love the Blu-ray movies. The Guardian is freakin' awesome and so is Planet Earth.

I hope you aren't exaggerating. I love to hear that the PS3 is sell really well now. I don't care if it's expensive. It's worth it! People will see that when their friends have a nice new PS3 for $499 and all the stores are sold out. This is going to cause a lot of demand this holiday season.
Hey Nice man... 2 ps3s lol. Also, the fact that they are sold out in a few stores, is actually good news for sony, though inconvenient if you're trying to get one lol. anyway, hope you enjoyyour ps3, and yes planet earth on blu-ray is amazing.

Yeah, the ps3 is totaly worth it. I am very pleased with mine (Bought it for 600, traded in the 360 towards it). And with tons of good games coming there wont be a lack of anything to play.
My brother is probably going to be getting one very soon as well.

Yeah, the ps3 is totaly worth it. I am very pleased with mine (Bought it for 600, traded in the 360 towards it). And with tons of good games coming there wont be a lack of anything to play.

Only 1/4 stores in my area have a ps3(according to Itrackr.com).
