Come on guys, I have been playing MGS4 now for 1.5hours in total and still have not got the hang of it. It's bloody hard. Do I need to keep going back to the map to see where I have to go? Is that the idea? And as for the weapons, where do I find the big gnarly weapons? Or do I need to get some points together and buy off Drebin? I was thinking of getting a sniper rifle, is that a good weapon to get with 60,000 points?

Im guessing you just bought the game? right well if you dont know where to go check the map by pressing start button. The map will show you the entire location of where you are and tell you where you have to go. If that doesn't help then check a gameplay guide on the net or something. Regarding weapons you can buy the really awesome weapons from Drebin by collecting DB points by collecting guns from fallen fows. You can also find big weapons while playing, you can find a bazooka near the beginning of the games when the milatia 1st fight after you meet up with Otocon via that little robot which I for some reason forgot his name :P

MK II is the robots name, so tell me, in what situations would I use the robot? What can the robot do for me?

whoa whoa whoa......you dont have to waste your points to buy a sniper rifle, many weapons can be found on enemies and such. For example, i found a sniper rifle in a building :)

mk 2 can do quite a few things, it can get the enemies attention by having it knock on the walls, or it can taze enemies till there knocked out etc.
