But all in all I disagree. Not anymore, the 360 gets picked on much more now. No exclusives and mostly faulty hardware, and now slowly lagging behind Sony in sales, they fell a long way from grace.
it's just a theory. PS3 gets hate because they were the last two generations sale kings and people like it that they are in last place as of now. In fairness Sony has kicked a lot of console ass. Honestly that makes Xbox sound good. Its been around 5 years since they launched the 360 and they are about to meet their limit....That sounds impressive IMO.

At the end of the day, SONY asked for it when they started going on about how great the console was and how powerful it was gonna be that everyone just got overhyped about it, myself included and then when it finally came out it didn't quite deliver as expected. They should have just kept quiet about it and let the exclusives speak for themselves as time went by, then perhaps they wouldn't have had so much bashing and such and probably people wouldn't put so much emphasis on the hateful head to head comparisons. You can't really put Nintendo into the picture too much as they keep themselves to themselves really and never overclaim anything, plus Nintendo games are what they are and always will be: Nintendo games. If you like Nintendo games, like most people do, especially veteran gamers like myself who grew up with the NES, Super Nintendo and Gameboy, then you will atrracted to the Wii and DS. I own a PS3 and a Wii, and my best freind has a 360, so I don't miss anything. They are all good consoles at the end of the day, each offering something different. Who has the better graphics, well when it boils down to exclusives, PS3 has the edge over the 360, (you can't put Nintendo here because they have a less powerful hardware at the end of the day, but the Wii graphics look great for what Nintendo does). When we talk about Multiplats, it's a different story as usually the 360 looks better. This is not an issue with the consoles hardware, but how the devs have used it. So quit SONY bashing, Microsoft bashing and Nintendo bashing and just play your games and calm down.
I own both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and honestly I like both and agree that both have their strengths and weaknesses. I like the Xbox 360 because I find the controller is more comfortable in my hands (although the PS3 controllers are also good), and overall I would say I like the library of available games for the Xbox 360 more. I also appreciate that current Xbox 360 consoles still maintain partial backwards compatibility with it's direct predecessor. I like the PlayStation 3 because I have more faith in it's reliability and I also like that it can play Blu-Ray disc movies. Generally speaking, if a game is available on both platforms, I usually prefer to buy it for the PS3 simply because reliability numbers are better for that console.
yer especialy by xboxers, i dont see why.i like xbox and ps3 but i chose a ps3 over an xbox because i prefer the exclusives and it has free online. i dont hate xbox at all, i just sometimes hate xbox players

They also all have their own purpose. The Wii and Dsi are really for myself and my 4 yr old son. Im also an 80's baby so im always going to play the new Mario's, Zelda's, and metroids (they need to make a mega man thats worth playing) The 360 I have because like you said just about all of the Multi platform games look better than on the PS3. People can disagree all they want but i've had the opportunity to examine multi plats on both systems and 360 always has a visual edge over PS3. But when it comes to Exclusives NOBODY can even come CLOSE to what PS3 has to offer. I remember when Killzone 2 came out and the opening cut scene had my jaw on the ground, especially titles like Heavy Rain. So at the end of the day Every system really serves their own purpose. It is true tho that all the systems have tremendous and dedicated followers. I've literally been to Gamestops where they flamed me for buying LBP for PS3 and talked about how horrilble PS3 is. Then i've gone to another where I was praised for having a PS3. People need to shut up and realize that all of these systems doing something better than the other. In my opinion for the Average non hardcore gamer, get a 360, the multi plats look better, and you can get one for $150 bucks, For Hardcore gamers, PS3 is def. the way to go, the exclusives speak for themselves plus there is def WAY more potential in the PS3 than the 360. At the end of the day tho, a PS3 is still pretty expensive, of course its worth it but the average consumer who really doesnt give a crap about the technology (all the yuppies on black friday) are gonna get 360's because for what it cost to get a new PS3 they can get a 360w/a kinect bundle. Having all 3 i can say that my FAVORITE is SONY so technically im a lil biased but this is why i love sony and always have for everything. They dont really care about satisfying the masses, they care about satisfying Sony's fanbase. They may not sell the most year after year but they are always steady and thats the way to go. Its like baseball one year someone may hit 50 hrs and thats great but then they'll hit 25, 15, 20. Sony is that steady 30 hr, 100 rbi hitter. Always a threat at the plate and always consistent!

Some of the mockery against the playstation, is well deserved. No other company, for three consecutive generations, has actually removed features and functionality present in the launch models, for the revised models. With the PS1, they managed to fix the alignment and motor placement problems that created overheating issues in the original PS1's, but then exacerbated by removing all ventilation for the smaller, PSOne unit. It also removed the parallel port that was handy for the GS Pro, and the Industry standard A/V ports for their own, proprietary, A/V multi-out, which effectively killed usage of the official Namco Guncon, which was probably the best of the light-guns that were around. With the PS2, it started with hardware BC for PS1 games, much like the original PS3 did for PS2. It was also able to accept a pata hard drive inside for much more extensive use, and there were already some games that did employ it; SOCOM for example had some DLC maps you couldn't play unless you could install them to the hard disk, and even some games that didn't explicitly state support (like the 2k5 sports games) could save data directly to the PS2 HDD. First, Sony removed the 4-pin firewire port in favor of a built-in IR port and 480p DVD playback, then the slim PStwo came out, which removed the hard disk support. They also removed the hardware BC in favor of software BC, and overclocked the EE+GS to compensate from original spec. With the ps3, it's quite simple... since the original launch units, we went to software BC, to no BC at all. We lost half our USB ports, we lost our flash memory reader, we still have a pretty **** wireless adapter in the ps3, and we then retroactively have Linux removed altogether. What next? No more user-replaceable drives too? By removing Linux, they pissed off the very people most capable of auditing their security capabilities... and thus why the ps3 master key has now been made public.

There's nothing wrong with the PS3 but Sony sort of brings it on themselves - their marketing campaigns are pretty embarassing, from the crying baby to the whole 'make.believe' fiasco to the current "it only does EVERYTHING" mess.
