I think Sony should wait for the next playstation to charge for online...

Because a lot of us (me at least) bought it because of the free online. Because the idea that I'm saving 50$ a year is very appealing to me, can buy one more game with that money etc... I don't think this bait and switch is a good idea. This is assuming of course that they are charging for something similar to Xbox Live.

^yes. They're not charging for PSN, they are simply considering the idea of adding a premium version on top of what we already have.

I agree, doesn't everybody want it to be free? You don't have to make a thread about it
