After all the GTA4 issues i went ahead and bought the game lastnight.I went to Gamestop and asked the girl behind the counter how many complaints the store has had with the game freezing.She then asked what system and i told her PS3.She then said a couple of complaints.Then she said she had a used copy for 57.00 and if it didnt work i could bring it back and get a full refund.I got home and put the game in.It asked me to update.So i said to myself here we go.I downloaded in about 5 minutes or so.Then waited for the install.Done!!! So far no problems.I played it for about a halh hour cause the kids were around and its not a kid friendly game.From what i played in that short time its a ok game.Ill get more into after work today.Ill let you guys know how it goes.

I dont understand why people are so scared at buying this game becuase of all the issues being reported, think about how many copies were sold and how many reports of issues there are. I have a 60gb Launch never had one problem. Its such a small percentage less than 5% if even that high. You will start enjoying this game alot more as you get into it.
He bought it used because Gamestops policy on buying used games is that before 7 days is up if you want to return the game you can return it and get all of your money back.
It could make sense if he didn't like it and wanted the seven day return policy, but yeah if you like it, return the used copy and get a new one if your only saving three dollars.
im not writing this because of the price i paid.I was concerned about freezing my ps3.Ive played all the gta games and i like them all besides the first one.im just glad i got a used copy incase i do have problems i can take it back and get my money back istead of a new copy.

I feel your pain... In my country, games cost about 200 $...OMG!! Where the hell do you guys live?i'm pretty sure i would not be a gamer if i lived there:shock: I live in Uruguay (South America)... And yes, gaming is an expensive hobby here.
Well I bought mine last week and the clerk said, if you have a problem with the disk or it broke, we can give you a new one, it is only a extra 3 bucks and the game was 60
The game stores here in Brazil sell ps3 games for 160U$ , but you can buy from people that import games without paying taxes that would cost you 95U$ belive me that's cheap or you can import yourself from people in ebay , which would cost the same as it does for you americans plus the shipping , 15U$ more or less.I , myself have never had any of my games taxed , they just arrive at home in 2 weeks , which is the unique letdown for me.
