Went over a friends house last night with my PS3. He has the "other" console and we've shared some friendly back and forth etc. He just got a new 46" Sony Bravia TV so we hooked up the PS3 to it and he was totally blown away. I showed him Motorstorm, Oblivion, some demos and Superman Returns on Blu-Ray. I think it's safe to say he's going out this weekend and getting himself a PS3. Now after seeing my system on his television I want a new one! HAHA. I've got a 57" widescreen Toshiba rear projection and I thought that was nice. His set made mine look bad!!!! So now he's getting a PS3 and I'm jonesing for a new television. HAH!

i've converted most of my friends too. they all used to talk about how they were glad they got a 360. after they actually played a PS3 they wated to sell their 360s and save up for a PS3.
Keep up the good work ladies and gents. It is very hard sometimes to talk to the 'other' crowd. I get very negative and extremely uniformed feedback from people about 'our' system.
The negative feedback in the media is really having an effect on people and SONY. (thought SONY has a large part to play in this)
I am 32 and my bud is 37, I have the 60Gig PS3, he has the 'Other' console. We have very adult conversations most of the time but....I swear to god I thought I was dealing with a middle school student with some of the things he was crapping out about the PS3. The funny part is, most of what he was saying about it was totally untrue.

Just wait till FEAR Apr 24, Lair May 1,KZ2 July 1, and MGS 4 Sept 1 etc. At the end of this year great games on PS3 will out number great one's on 360 5-1 easily.

Big deal, most my friends turned away from ps3 a long time ago and just bought a Wii or 360, much like tons of other people. So you turned one fan, well done, would you like a medal? That won't save Sony from all the playstations still left in shops..

Why must you folks come in here with so much negativity? Its really uncalled for. The reason the fans of the PS3 like to see this kind of stuff is because we truly support our system. It is nice to see a true fan trying spread the love about his PS3. And for your INFO, I bought a Wii and it sits on the shelf collecting dust. Its a great system in concept, but the graphics are terrible and it really doesnt hold my attention nor does it for my 8 and 10 yr old kids that are always begging to play my $600 system (No way! is my usual response) Just please dont come in here looking to piss people off or make trouble. Each system has its positvies and negatives, but I wont be trolling around the other forums looking for happy owners to start trouble with.

I'm 37 and my buddy is 49. And you don't need to be rich to have a PS3 and a $2700 television, just smart with your money.
