i Have an SDTV for my PS3 i must say it isnt bad but when you see all the HD screens/Videos you really see what your missing out on. it doesnt affect Gameplay though. Anyway im Waiting for HDMI 1.3 to arrive or if its out i can afford a tv with it
Well by then they might have bigger and better tvs..i say save up like im doing right now and buy one as soon as possible that budgets your spending to a limit....by then who knows what types of tvs they will have!
Yea, I am saving for one. I'm about half way there, I think it will be good for when I get my PS3, I just want to see Blu-Ray movies. I have the 360 for now so I'm set.
ive been playing on a 22 inch monitor for now in 720p via hdmi to dvi.. pretty freakin sweet.. im savin for an hdtv too but this is currently the best for me cuz im at university and dont exactly want a 50inch in my bedroom

I just turned 15, legal age for working in some jobs in NJ so I FINALLY can get a decent paying job. I know how you feel man, living off mom's and dad's wallet isn't fun and is not the best way to get what you want. :(
I know everyone wants to brag about having a 1080p native TV, but you honestly can't tell the difference unless the TV is bigger than 50" so I really would suggest getting a 1080i or 720p set. I have a hitachi plasma, and it's the best purchase i've ever made hands down, and it's got a better picture quality than anything i've seen up to this point...(excluding 1080p sonys over 50 inches.)

i dont live of their wallets and dont get expensive holiday presents i work my butt off (i raked leafs for an entire day once[i made a nice $40 :D]) i mostly bought this system , prob 60% to put percentage wise off selling old consoles and games. *waves bye to ps2 and games, Gamecube and games, and GBA stuff/games* im no spoiled mamas boy thats 4 sure and proud of it! i been saving on b-day and holiday and minr jobs 4 $ for like 2 years to help pay the rest and now im broke :( and want a hd tv but have too wait 2 years for that govt price drop thing *shrugs shoulders* but sd if good for me.
lol im 16 and my rents buy me everything cept they wont let me bring the HDtv downstairs... Tell me to get a job trus me i tried and i kinda enjoy the lazy ass playing ps3 life.. hate me for it
im 16 and have school and can manage a job. It does suck sometimes though its like go to school go to work (work late), sleep, go to school lol and the cycle continues, but in a few weeks when i buy a new tv and ps3 i know that the hard work will pay off. if you can get a job take it cause like i said it will pay off in the end
