I want a ps3 for the blu ray is there any other reason for me to get a PS3?

I want to go blu ray and get out of the DVD (I don't hate it I just want it in HD) and I can't find another reason to buy a PS3?

Buy a stand alone blu-ray player then.

For a hundred bucks you can get a stand alone Blu-Ray player, unless, your one of them video game guys. ;)

Well seeing as you're level 25 on a gaming website I'd go with the fact that you can play games on it... But I'm sure you've already thought of that and you are still asking this question in a PS3 forum.... So no there's no other reason to get a PS3, just go get a blu ray player

I'll have to assume you know the PS3 is primarily a game console and you aren't interested in that feature. So no, don't bother getting a PS3.

No. If all you want is the Blu Ray feature, you're better off getting a stand-alone Blu Ray player. You need to learn how to make smarter decisions for yourself as a consumer, TC.

Since you already have a 360, how about a picking up a HDDV drive.

There is no reason to buy a ps3 if you don't like ps3's exclusive games.

as for me exclusive games is the reason I want all.

Only I can tell whether the game is worth playing or not.

Playstation Australiascustomer service wont give an answer of why either, and all their forums will tell you to call customer service even when you state they don't answer your question

The serial no. on every PS3 is actually a winning lottery number. Of course, you have no way of knowing which one, but just keep trying and you'll strike it rich.

The PS3 is actually a very very good Blu Ray player. It also plays h264 files which other bluray players don't play, though some you may need to convert. So you can put a lot of HD moves on an external HDD and play them on your PS3.

Buy a stand alone blu-ray player then.
