cause he pissed me off. He downloaded all my games and dlc. My question is, if I change my email adress will he still be able to play does games on his ps3? if yes then how do I change my account so he cant use my games on his ps3 or use my account at all? (without going to his house and deleting it in person)

go to his house and manually delete your profile

you don't have control over your profile on his ps. the only thing you can do to prevent someone from using your account is to change the password. as for the previous games he downloaded. you can't delete it remotely

I think if you delete the game form your PS3 it will be deactivate in his PS3. if so delete your games change your password and download it again form your PS3. I haven't try that yet but I'll try that and confirm.

No, you can't delete your games and expect it to delete it on another PS3. The most you can do is change your password, this will stop him from downloading more in the future and some of the games he already downloaded will no longer work.

I lol'd.

Change your password and BAM he will never be able to use your account, but will probably still have access to the games he already downloaded. The only way to get rid of them from his console is to deactivate your account on the system. Mission Impossible time 8)

I imagine it's because you only get five downloads for most content, and even though he was dumb enough to give his friend his password, it was still a pretty lame thing to download all that stuff.

If you want to remove it from the console, DO NOT DELETE THE PROFILE. You need to sign into your profile on his PS3, and go to account managment, then deactivate console. If you dont do it this way, the console will forever be kept as one of your 5 consoles, if you ever need more than 5 you will lose this one, trust me, ive been there. you must deactivate from account managment, do not just delete the profile.

This thread is old:?. Anyway, the number of systems will be 2 instead of 5 after Nov 19, but the good thing is that we will be able to deactivate other systems through a computer.

Call Sony, give them your current console ID and then they can deactivate the others. Problem solved.

Did you sell him the ps3? and if so, next time, delete your credit card information and then get rid of your psn account on the ps3 and then delete the ps3 user profile. I know too many steps but you have to make sure all your data is gone. You can log into your psn network account website through your pc and change your id, email address and password. I sold my ps3 with tons of games that i downloaded through the psn network. To keep the games and also active for the purchaser. I got rid of my psn credit card information in the ps3 system first(billing info). I then went to gmail and created a new email account called ps3Generic to use for my psn network. Then went to psn network website using my pc and changed the profile by assigning the new gmail address, changed the id and password, and entered a fake random street address. and i think i also had to enter the fake address in the ps3 system system also, not sure. I gave the purchaser this information so he can keep the games on the system and still be able to download them later if he needed to. He later changed all the info on the system and online with his own.
