Trust me, stick with a UMD compatible PSP for the time being.

Just get the 3000 model. Cheaper and you'll have the option of getting games on UMD if you want.

Buy a 3000 because that way you have the option to buy ANY game you want not just the limited ones on the PS Store. Not to mention you get a bigger screen and a few other bells and whistles. The support for the Go just isn't there yet and DL only games are just a waste of money to me. And when you do buy yours get GTA: Chinatown Wars, cuz this game is tight lol.

I got my psp3000 less than a month ago, and I'm lovin it. I just got the regular core pack, not the specialty bundles. Just FYI the 3000's piano black core pack doesn't come w/a data cable.

Just stick with the 3000. BTW the game that comes with that bundle SUCKS. I don't have it but by the look of that game it looks like it's a bad game to have. You'll come out cheaper getting the 3000. Besides there aren't that many game's for the go and Sony isn't planning on making something where you can transfer UMDs to the go... not yet anyways and if it does come out it'll be a while. Just get either the 2000 or 3000.

In my honest opinion the PSP Go is MUCH more comfortable to play with and portable than the PSP Slim. To me the dimensions are just right. I had a few PSN games already so getting the Go wasn't a bad deal for me.

Then again, I paid $180 cash (LOVE Craigslist) for it.

$250 is too much, but for $200...it's a GREAT deal.

I think i'm going with the 3000. I realized the games i want are all obscure JRPG's and other RPG's. So unless the PSN gets all the RPG's, then ill pick up a used 3000.

I need one for Kingdom Hearts xD

Like most of us said, get a 3000 and pick up a 16 GB memory stick for $60. That's basically the same thing as the Go but only cheaper and you can play any UMD including imports!

Do I really need the memory stick? I mean, is that assuming I'm putting music and video on it?

Cuz for now I have my iTouch. Is there another reason to get the stick? sorry i dont know much about the PSP xD

But that's why I'm asking ^_^

Well, the 3000 comes with a memory stick for saves, so technically you don't need one. But if you do get one you can download games on it like the Go can, and music, videos, etc. Everything the Go can do but better IMO. I'll be frank: the Go is a waste of money. It looks cool but it's not worth it.

So glad I did not end up buying a GO.

It doesn't matter. 2GB memory sticks are like $10 now.

If you sell your old games you might want to get the PSP 3000 and also so you can buy any game you want.

physically I like the PSP Go A LOT!!! my friend has one and it just fits in your hands better it's muchmore portable. He used to never carry his PSP with him, now he has his Go on him all the time.

either way it's a real tough decision, but since i'm rarely home i'd probabely get the Go but even then i'd still be unsure buying one, especially at $250

Thanks!! I think this is what I'll do. Even if the go is 'better' physically, i decided i like to physically have games anyways. I can always download if i want so, 3000 it is.

It's all looks man. It may be great at first but after awhile, you'll realize that the Go has too many limitations. For example, I have a lot of games that may never come to the PSN. Even Lumines won't be there since Q games said they won't support the PSP anymore. Also, I can play imports on my PSP 2000 (or 3000).
