I was thinking maybe that sony can sell Psone games on a umd disc in stores and sell them for 7 bucks ,so you dont have to download them and lose a lot of memory.

You can get them from the Sony's online store. You will either need to have a PS3 or install a program on your PC though.

It would be nice if we could buy them on UMD but I doubt that this would ever happen. Sony's is probably playing the same game as Microsoft's Live and Nintendo's Virtual Console. The entire idea is to market old games for new platforms WITHOUT any production/distribution costs.

Well, that would be an inconvenience for them then, having to waste extra money to use UMDs and put manuals in the box for the games. For what, 7 bucks? That most likely won't happen unless they make it at least 25-30 dollars, so if you want to pay more then be my guest. There's an 8 gigabyte Memory Stick Pro Duo out right now to buy so it's better to get it on that then to go out and buy UMDs for more than the games' worth. A 16 gig Memory Stick Pro Duo is coming out later this year and I assure you, that'll be much worth the wait.

You know, that wouldn't be a bad idea.
