did u get the 20gb or the 60gb??? im just wondering....personaly i would go with the 60gb...another reason y i havent bought the ps3 yet, im still saving :( :cry:
I got the 60GB because I wanted the memory card readers but, above all, Wi-Fi, which is very well worth it. That is if you have a wireless network. Another reason is the 60GB seem to be easier to find. A rumor, don't know if it's factual, says that Sony is trying to phase out the 20GB slowly. It's well worth it, if you have a wireless network. If you don't and don't plan on getting one, then it seems really stupid to get the 60GB unless you really need that space and the memory card readers. And the drive is upgradable, anyways. I'm happy with my 60GB.
i got the 60 because for 100 bucks you get a bigger hdd, and you get the wifi. cant go wrong really. the card readers arent that important, but if i use them once ill be happy.

Spent the extra $100 I saved on a game, and an extra controller.
Put it this way---the 20gb is like a total rip-off of the 60gb version. Only a hundred dollars more and you get the so awesome console :). Yes, I bought the 60gb. :D

You do know that its only cost Sony $50 more to make the 60gig but they charge $100 more. If anything the 60gb is a rip off.
60GB. Better choice, just for $100 more. WiFi comes with, which I needed. Plus the chrome trim, very sexy. All the mem. cards, and the xtra memory. If it werent a 60 my space would almost be gone.

I wonder if it's his router or something he use's a linksy router, and his signal strength is 100%, I wonder what the problem could be? He lives in an apartment, his computer is in his bedroom, and his PS3 is in his livingroom.
20GB. My PS3 is in the same room as my router so I didn't need wifi. The bigger HDD was worthless to me, 20GB or 60GB I would have filled it just as fast with linux so instead I'll get a 200GB+ 2.5" SATA HDD later. Already had a 7-in-1 USB card reader so didn't need it inside my PS3. Both 60GB and the 20GB are great deals. Get the one that suit your needs.

yea what a ripoff!!!! i mean sony spends an estimated 850$ to make it and then selling the 60 gig for 200$ less?!?! what were they thinking!!! im gunna return my ps3 now!!! thanks for opening my eyes :D
Get the 60 gig. you dont have to worry about HD space and th echrome is better looking. also wi fi and memory card gimkmick which is cool if you do photography like my girlfriend. Try to get her into it.

You really should. I dont think the ps3 was made for dumb s*****. I was just merely stating a fact buddy. I hope someone helps you brush up on reading comprehension. "If anything the 60gig is a ripoff" in comparison to the 20 gig system. This was in response to the guy that said the 20 gig was a rip off. Now if Sony loses $300 on the 20 gig and $250 on the 60 gig which system is the ripoff when you compare the two? Seriously, get that edumacation man.

well its costing them about 200+ dollars for every PS3 made, so might as well charge 50 extra!!! PS3 is amazing though, by the way, i have the 60gb version, awesome, use it with my PSP all the time.
20 gig for a few reasons. A- There already being rare, meaning i'm like in a secret cult with the few other 20 gig ps3 owners. B- For that 100$ difference, i got a 160 gig notebook serial ata hard drive. *Take that, measily 100 gigs lower hard drive!* C- At my place, wireless is 2/3rds slower than wired, and i could care less about remote play. D- I think the complete black looks better than having a silver crome interrupt with having a pure colored system.
