ive never played these games, is it worth getting them today?

also are these games long or very short, im looking for a game that will take a long time to beat.

They're amazing games. SotC is more less a long game considering how each Colossi takes time finding out how to bring them down and ICO has puzzles but aren't time consuming. You're in for one awesome experience :)

they are short games specially ICO, but man those games have heart, you cant go wrong buying the collection so go and buy them now.

I was debating on this an RDR GOTY, I got RDR, I'm hoping Ico collection will go on sale soon.

id expect 20 hours to beat both. however, i think theyre two of the best games ever made and its hard to put a price tag on that (although getting 2 for less than the price of 1 should be tempting :P ).

Preface- I've only read igns review of ico

My advice is to read reviews of these games before buying. I haven't tried SotC.. but I wasn't expecting what I got out of ICO(i bought a ps2 VERY late in its lifecycle). IGNs review really nails it and if thats your thing then good for you. However, silent type adventure puzzle games like some of the old pc adventures in the 90s are not for me.
