idk if i should get a fat ps3 or a slim heres why.

ok the slim is 299

the 80 gig is 279

the used 80 gig is 229.00 with warrantee

and something about about the ps3 slim makes me wonder

and how much are warrantees for the ps3 usaully

Do you have any idea of the memory on the slim? I think it's 250 gigs. If it is go for the Slim. It also dosen't gather dust lol.

The used 80gb is cheap so you could get it and a game for the same price as a new slim. But personally, for something like that I would always buy new.

You're logic is questionable. The "Fat" PS3 has interchangable memory and can be upgraded whereas the PS3 Slim cannot without taking it completely apart.

Sorry if it's incorrect, but they know better than I because I don't own a PS3 Slim so it's a matter of taking their word for it. warranties on the PS3 run about $50 or more. You could go with the 80. The installs aren't as bad as everyone says. Sure, if you want to keep all the data for all your games on the system at one time, then it might become a problem. installation data and saved game are different. You can delete installed data without losing your save. At most your probably going to play what, 2 to 3 games at a time or so? If you find yourself not playing a game anymore, then just delete the installed data to save memory. Unless you know exactly to put a new hard drive in the PS3, I would just go with the new slim.

Id say go with the fat because its backward compatible. MethodManFTW
