well after i play mgs4 final fantasy XII and versus and few other games and finsh them i might consider the ps4 if its not expensive and if u get a free tv lol :D

I'd wait a few months for needed firmware upgrades and maybe hardware modifications, because everyone knows that consoles lag when they just come out :-) That's what I did with the PS3

I wouldn't. 1. PS3 just came out and is still pushing for great titles, so if PS4 just came out, what would make you think that it would have hot games as well. This topic is just stupid.

seeing games on ps3, 360, (not wii lol) i dont see why ms or sony would do another console for some time now.. these games already look so amazing.. how much better can it get?
Well, as of last week, I'm not an XboX owner, so I don't have to worry about a new version coming out anytimg soon that will make the current versions obsolete. The PS3 is futureproof in several respects. It came with a HDMI port, but no cord for anyone who didn't have a HDTV; which in retrospect was a wise decision, because the price of cords are dropping to as little as $7.10 and who owns an HDTV yet? The HDD is replaceable, so I can upgrade that at will, or the next big HDD sale. Rumble is coming back in time maybe in time for the release of Lair, and I'm sure other companies are including the programming in their soon to be released games, and the games that are out can add it to their online upgrade. Home is coming out which will be, Lord willing, the best of the three online systems, bar none; because the way it looks, it will be very hard for it to not be the best. Â
First I would stick with my PS3 for a while. Then if the PS3 actually got some good titles then I might consider buying the PS4(If its not $2000 of course lol:P). Sonys gotta prove itself again.:roll:

Well, seeing as how PS3 has good titles coming out this year and it costed me $650 dollars, there is no way i would buy a PS4 right then. I would buy it maybe a year later if it had good titles.
I dont think the PS4 will be that expensive. I think sony is seeing the reprecussions of charging $600 for the system.MagMower

What reprecussions are you talking about? The only repreccusion is the false negative news that others are trying to put out. Did you see the other thread about the PS3 has been the fastest selling console in Europe? The only people saying its not worth it are the people not buying it which they should be quiet. I think its worth the 600 and will be well worth it within this year when developers start opening just a crack of its real power.
wtf? I can't believe people are actually taking this topic seriously and would consider buying a ps4 a year afte the ps3 came out. These are probably the same people who bought the 360 when it was released like 10 minutes after the original xbox.
it prob could be cheaper, all sony really needs to do is upgrade the graphics engine and they could reuse the cell cuz currently the RSX is bottlenecking the cells power
