Topic. With all these new games coming out and games getting better standards getting higher. What do you think?

I think it would have a 8.8 to 9.0 score.

If the game was much longer I would give it 9.5!

It would get a slightly lower score. With time comes higher standards so there's no way the score would go up and it probably wouldn't stay the same.

I still think it deserves a 9. Great game. Rachet and Clank was good too but parts of it were too glitchy for me.

No daxter is way better considering it was made much earlier than ratchet and clank. Daxter is a champion game :)

I don't think it would get a 9.1 again. It got that score then because it was one of the very few great games that had great graphics etc. Now there a way more, with games like Portable Ops, Tekken, Ratchet etc. I think if it was reviewed again it would probably get 8 - 8.5

I don't think so! Games are games, they get released from time to time, certainly if you have played a game at a time & loved it for example FF 7 no matter how advanced the next FF in the series or other games get you would still love the game & keep it's ratings that's my opinion on it . Maybe it was too short ... I haven't played the game though!

We don't see that happen to DS games despite lower quality of games they even score BIGTIME!!! I mean they're still making 2d games all the time when the standard should be 3d & stuff!!!

remember that the standards are more than just grapichs. the grapichs itself don't make a good game. I liked Daxter, but maybe a little overrated. i would personaly give it about 7 i think, the Jak games was way better. But... I think it would get the same today since there isn't really any game who surpasses it. maybe ratchet (haven't tried it, never liked ratchet myself). But it still holds a high quality compared to never titles.
