If Heavenly Sword doesn't get 9 or above, I'l be surprised.

I know its early talk, but people are becoming more concerned with review scores and AAA titles. As this title resembles God of War style gameplay, and looks to be a story driven and cinematic experience like God of War, I think it will get a 9+ review score, because everyone loves God of War (just wait for the review, it hasn't scored below 9 yet!!).

I'm not trying to say because its like God of War it will get a high score (or maybe I am?) because it looks like a great game in its own right. But if it scores lower than 9 i'll be very surprised, and you can count on this board going crazy with gamespot bias topics if it scores lower than expected.

:| Do not hype anymore Playstation3 games here at game spot.  All that matter is that the game will be awsome and it's a title made exclusively for the PS3.  If you want to hype reviews tho...to go IGN or gamerankings. because at the time those are the only unbias places to get Playstion game ratings. 

Whatever you hype HS here GS will score it a whole letter lower than what it really deserves and you will be owned.

Heavenly sword looks like an awesome action game and every bit of a AAA title.

This game is a welcome edition to the roster of Playstation action games, I was skeptical about this game last year but now I'm really looking forward to it considering I'm an action game fan.

Thanks for your comments. What made GOW get a 9.0? (not in 'how? it doesnt deserve a 9', but as in what aspects of the game contributed to its score) and what will be missing from Heavenly Sword that may lower its rating?chrisius007

  I think that everybody will compare it to God of War, which will p!$$ me off cause I never played that game, nor am I in a hurry to play it (I might rent the new one though).

  Like I've already heard folks compare Ghost Rider game to God of War also, but from what I've seen, it's more like Devil May Cry (which came out long before GOW).

i don't see any ps 3 game getting a AAA wether it deserves it or not. this gen the other cousole are going to be the one with the aaa scores. maybe the ps 4 will get the love it diserves.GARRYTH

So no, it wont get 9 or above, No ps3 game will from Gamespot at this rate.

The ps3 needs to get a 9 and above score. The Wii and 360 have, it is just a matter of time.

Too early to talk about scores because we don't know how long the game is and we haven't seen too much outside of the arena battle.

Oh, come on, who here actually played the game? We only saw trailers and small clips. I think history is more than a proof that good trailers doesn't mean good games and bad trailers doesn't mean bad games. Check out Red Steel. It looked very promising but turned out disapointing. We don't know much about Heavenly Sword, so we have no ideas how it could score.deadkingdg
