If i format my ps3 the trophies will stay?

Hello....

iam about to format my ps3 cuz it wont read disks (only blu-ray disks) and before i do it i wanna know, the trophies will be deleted if i format my ps3?

Your trophies are tied to the servers and your profile so no.Infact I don't think there is away to delete trophies.K1LLR3175

I recently did the exact same thing, only I was replacing my HDD - and I can confirm that if you allow your PS3 to resynch with the servers, then your trophies will come back.

Trophies wont display until you install the game again ofc, so dont get a heart attack! And ofc you must be online! (^.-)

as long as you have recenly sync'd your trophies then, yes. anything that you may have earned with out an internet conection and have not sync'd will not be theirjcopp72

Edit: sync is matching your trophies from your PS3 to the PSN network
