yeah, why not?
kojima said, on his show, that mgs4 will never come to the 360 though;Â who know though, konami might do that in a few years.
( I realize this is a PS3 thread, so please give me your honest opinons.)1-Metal Gear Solid 4 will only come to the ps3 2-If u are having fun with ur xbox 360 dont buy a ps3 untill later this year or the next or wait for a price drop 3-Resistance , Motorstorm , Lair , Warhawk , DMC4 , Heavnly Sword ,metal gear solid , little big planet , 80 days and many more wont come to the xbox 360 so it doesnt seem ever game thats coming to te ps3 is coming to the 360
I reacently own a 360 and am quit happy with it. However, I am thinking about getting a PS3. With the dwindling amount of exclusives for both consoles, it seems that almost every game thats coming to PS3 is also coming to 360 (Im calling Metal Gears Solid 4 to come to the 360 as well.) example is GTA4. Will I be getting the same experience (Graphical and Games) from the PS3 as I would from my 360.

Dude, you can't go wrong either was!!! Plus owning both minimizes fanboyism.lol As far as sharing the same games on both systems that might be true, but you will never, never see halo, or geow on the ps3, and on the same note you will never, never see god of war, or kllzone on the 360. It's pretty common to own more then 1 console nowdays.
i think that the ps3 is a long term investment, with home coming and the potential it has, if you have the money to buy both why not?PattyBoy31Â lol...I wish I would have read your post first...you simplified what I should have said.lol
If you can afford one, get it. I am lucky enough to be in a position to be able to afford both. I only play R:FOM and Motorstorm currently on the PS3, though I enjoy it as a blu-ray player as well. It is a good system, and is likely to continue to imporve as developers learn how to work around its unique design.
Your point about multiplatforms is very true. >85% of games are likely to come out for both systems, so you it isn't even as important as last gen to own more than one system. It really is a luxury, but if it won't crimp your life**** you won't be disappointted, the PS3 is an excellent peince of hardware.
get one...in the Fall. there's nothing out right now that should compel a 360 owner to feel like they need a PS3. there's no experience on the PS3 that warrants it. but perhaps when Lair, Heavenly Sword and some more PS3 exclusives are on the market along with the system updates we're all waiting for, it'll be a a worthy purchase.Dreams-Visions
Well, part of what you are saying is true, if he is just looking for games, but if he wants to utilize the additional multimedia functions of the ps3, it is worth getting now. Yes, he may be able to get SOME of those function from the 360, but most will come from using a Pc or adding additional hardware. I love my 360 for the games, but my Ps3 is my multimedia power house!!!
( I realize this is a PS3 thread, so please give me your honest opinons.)It depends on your taste in games. Exclusive Sony published games confirmed (there will be more) to be released this year: F1 '06 (already out) GT 5 - Prologue (if GT4 prologue is any indications it's almost a game in it self) Heavenly Sword Hot Shots Golf Lair Little Big Planet MLB the Show '07 Motor Storm (already out) My SingStar Ratchet and Clank Uncharted - Drake's Fortune Warhawk If none of these games interests you then you should take a wait and see approach.

( I realize this is a PS3 thread, so please give me your honest opinons.)If you have the money and wants to buy it, go ahead. You won't be disappointed with your decison. But if you are happy with your Xbox 360 for now, I reccomment waiting for a price drop. Like me, I'm waiting for a 360 price drop.

Yes, Kojima said that it is never going to be made on the X360 by him. But feel free to get the 20GB Model if you can find one. Screw everyone who puts down the 20GB model. If you want to save up for more X360 stuff than I would say not to get a PS3, rather a handheld or something.yeah, why not?

I was in the same boat last month. I purchased an Xbox 360 at launch and have been very pleased with the games (Gears, Oblivion, Condemned, etc) and there are a ton of must-have exclusives releasing in the next 7-10 months (Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Two Worlds) . But I was intrigued by the PS3.Â
So I decided to buy one a couple of weeks ago and I have been very pleased. I highly recommend Resistance:FoM because it is a lot of fun and is the third best next-gen game available behind Gears and Oblivion, but it is the only PS3 game that intrigues me right now. God of War 2 was another big reason to get a PS3 eventhough its a PS2 game. In terms of the rest of the year, Heavenly Sword and Devil May Dry 4 sealed my decision to get a PS3. I'd say live it up and enjoy the best of both worlds.
look at the ps3 exclusives, if you like them buy it, if not go for a wii or a handheld. i was very happy with my xbox and psp. But i still bought a ps2 very late (even after i got my 360!) just so i can play DMC, god of war 1&2 and guitar hero 1&2 ( it wasnt announced for the 360 yet). so yeah it all comes down to games, the best thing would be to wait a year or two.
and about MGS4, its not a technical factor, and even if it was, they can just make multiple disks for the game. theres already a huge rumour about DMC4 comming to the 360 and MGS4 wont be a big surprise. because, look, its not about capcom or konami not being loyal or anything, its a little factor of MONEY!!! those games will cost alot to develop, and third parties cant afford them like they did last gen, so the sensible thing to do is to make it multiplatform and ultimately SELL MORE COPIES, ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!! thats why gta, assassinscreed, virtuafighter, oblivion, guitar hero and a bunch of others have gone multiplatform.
