I would just stare at my ps3 and laugh then call sony. If it isn't the first time then ill have to trade it in for a wii for my sister and mom then maybe cry.:(
PS3_3DO is one of the biggest PS3 haters on this site. I know because him and I are regulars in System Wars. He's probably just posting here to troll. Anyways, try and get a new one somehow.
Cry for a couple hours, then call Sony and insist that they repair it. (getting a new one is not an option, I have a 60gb and I need the full b/c) If they refuse to repair it then I would hire someone who knows how to repair PS3's and be at peace again.
Mine did and I was ready to kill someone. Was already stressed with other stuff though so that's why.
It's not the system itself that bugged me, it was the price tag. I can't just go out and buy another system because I feel like it. Not when you actually have a life with bills to pay and food to buy.
I had two 40 gigs die on me one died after a week the other 8 months later. Both were plugged into the same surge protector as the PC I'm using now. Both had plenty of room to breath on a desk with nothing around them. Both were kept dust free and taken very well care of. I think it might have been the lot that I got the two from was defective. And to top it all off gamestop didn't give me a reciept after I exchanged the first one.
Pay to get it fixed and play my 360. And they had better fix it because it is the 60 gig. If they tried to trade me for one of the new POS versions, I would be mad.
thought about it... and if it happens i will write a blog about how video game hardware is trash designed to make the consumer pay more money! i would try my hardest to bring down any video game company that falls into this category. even though it will not make a real difference, i would hope that it would and i would be somewhat satisfied trying. unless of course the system was still in warranty like my 360 then i would just send it in and hope it doesn't happen again. but i would never buy another one. its not the money thats the issue. i just would not want to support a product that is not put together correctly. i have all three systems, i will play all of them until they "fizzle out" then im done.
Since I had to go through something similar with another console, I guess I would just be like awww crap. Then I would call Sony, and patiently wait. Price doesn't bother me much since I have all my finances in order.
