Well if it wasn't a lot it shouldn't be a problem, especially if it wasn't turned on. Do not try to turn it on or charge it again for a couple days, then see.
got mine wet before i had it in my pocket when it rained and i got soaked
i took my UMD out and i put it under my pillow and let it rest for a couple of hours like 7 then i turned it on to see it worked it did so i charged it
You could
A) let it dry out
B) Get a couple of cans of air and dry it out like that
C)If you could sony about it there ask if you droped it or gat water in it and if you say no and you send it and they find out your have to py them to give it back , fix it , and the shipping cost.

i didnt see that response coming....OH!..."coming" hahahaha
A similar topic was discussed in a TV program "The Gadget Show" (UK). The best thing would be to remove the Memory stick, UMD and battery and leave The PSP to dry at room temp for a minimum of 24 hours (much longer if it was seriously soaked), to reduce the drying time you could open the PSP up. (Not Reccomended).
Do not turn on unless it's dry or stuff may fry (cool that rhymes)
OR
Your screwed and have to get it repaired or buy a new one

i dont know prolly alot i sweeze a a wet tissue because i forgot it was in my lap and when i tryed to cut it on it did ntohingoldskool-gamer
How wet was the tissue and why would you sweeze it over your lap?
Haha, it depends on your luck. I once spilled a full bowl of miso soup and coke on my phat PSP and it still runs fine after I washed everything off really quickly, and put water in the cracks. Afterwards, it worked fine, except for the fact that some of the buttons were stuck when you press them sometimes, but its not a big problem.
That was also sort of the reason I got my slim.
You turned on an electronic device after you wet it?
OWNED
"Let's turn it on and see if it works!" YAY! Now you have just applied an electric current accross a wet circuit board. Well done.
