If ps3 came with a standard headset, would PSN be as bad as XBL?

i think it would be that bad, because most of the people stupid enough to think people wanna hear their crappy rap music over the background aren't smart enough to figure out a cell phone headset :P

i would imagine that they'll start bundling the new official headset when it comes out.

only a small minority of kids would probably get XBL

anybody can go into a game store or an electronics store and buy a member ship to xbox live. all thats needed is the cash.

if a kids willing to spend 60 bucks on call of duty 4 hes willing to pay the 4-8 bucks a month to play it online

It depends upon the game and the time of day, but PSN has its share of rabble that do nothing but trash talk, button mash and drop out of games every time they start to lose. As more people join and buy headsets you'll hear a lot more trash talking. That's just how it works.

I actually think its quite hilarious when people go all mental on you in games when you kill them
