If sony charged for psn

As the title says if sony charged $60 per year like Microsoft does to play games online would you be able to afford it or would you just ditch cnsole gaming entirely?...as an XBL user i have to say although at first its a drag to pay $5 per month you just lear to brsh it off and appreciate some of the perks that come with charge for online play.

If I wasn't such a trophy whore I'd be happy to ditch online gaming, since I don't enjoy it and rarely participate in it. But you need online to get all the trophies for a lot of game these days, so I suppose I'd have to pay it.

It's a topic about the PS3 with the assumption that the reader is a PS3 owner. Seems like a reasonable fit for the PS3 board.

First post is an indirect comparison of PS3 and 360's online services, which is why it's a better fit in SW. You don't have to agree with it but at least I've explained myself. You never did.

Screw that, dropping $60 or more in total, not increments of $3.50a month, but throwing down $60+, its for the birds. Give me a game for the $60, and let me play free.
